Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Clermont

We had a nice stay at the Fairfield Inn in Clermont. The rooms were clean and comfortable—maybe a little outdated, but pretty much what you’d expect from a Fairfield. The pool area looked nice and seemed on par with the brand as well. The front desk staff was especially friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. My only complaint was the breakfast situation on Saturday morning. They ran out of eggs, and when a tray finally came out, a crowd would immediately gather around it. There were only enough eggs for about 4–5 people at a time, and then we’d wait another 15 minutes for the next batch. Unfortunately, I never did end up getting any. Hopefully they can improve the breakfast replenishment during busy times.

I had the pleasure of having this hotel on a recent business trip. Besides the very clean and neat accommodations, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Every person I encountered in my few days there was outgoing, happy and upbeat and a true delight. The room was spacious, EXTREMELY comfortable, and a real nice end to long business days. The fitness center, while small, had what one needs to maintain some semblance of fitness while on the road. An exceptional value, and awesome staff makes this a location that I look forward to returning to!

How is this hotel a Marriott. The smell of both rooms due to being transferred from one that smelt of urine to the second one that had a smell of old musty rag. They claimed to be sold out and couldn’t transfer to a different room but I’m sure it would have been the same. They claimed to decore definitely needs to be updated, this feels like generation 1 from back in the day. At check in a guest a head of me notified the desk agent you have a leak above the speaker by the elevator her response was oh thanks for letting me know after she asked the guest to check in his room behind the TV for a gold make up case that a previous guest called about missing who thinks that is where it was and if the guest finds it to bring it down. The room was full with roaches in the refusing to give me a refund !!! Room 102 in i even had a dirty rag in the shower when I checked in

Disappointed this hotel is not what I expected from a Marriott property. Front desk staff was nice, but room is outdated. Curtains have rips in them and bed is uncomfortable. It is conveniently located, but this is my first and last time staying here. This hotel is way overpriced for the accommodations.
