Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Chicago Tinley Park

We visited Chicago this weekend as part of our vacation and this hotel was fantastic. We stayed for 3 nights and the staff were wonderful. Rodney checked us in and was helpful when I had questions about the laundry. Lisa was also very helpful at the front desk during the day time. Rodney and Lisa were both immediately attentive when I walked up to the desk and had bright smiles on their faces. Laura was very helpful with breakfast and making sure I had everything I needed. Great experience. I loved that this hotel has a pool and a guest laundry room.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this older property. The staff were very welcoming,our rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast had many choices and was very good. Their staff was constantly out making sure everything was filled, tables were clean, and asking if we needed anything. Coffee was available 24/7. Would stay here again the next time we travel in this area.

Positive: Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Negative: I was in room 310. Not sure what was happening in the storage/ staff area next to it but the sound was distracting

Very much a 2-star experience - not the worst hotel we've ever stayed at, but we wouldn't go back either. - Rooms are alright in terms of furnishings and general quality. Our room (single queen bed) had a fridge and microwave, as well as a small closet. No hair dryer that we could find. TV was pretty old and not terribly big - we didn't test it. The bed was reasonably comfortable though the pillows were very flat. - Cleanliness was not great. Shower had a lot of residue, we found bobby pins and hair on the floor, and there was a visible footprint in the bathroom. The shower drain was also partially clogged. - We got a visit by management during our stay because apparently showering with the door open caused the fire alarm to trigger, but there was no working fan in the bathroom so keeping

This hotel was AMAZING! Firstly, they allow 18+ check in, which is rare. Secondly, the room was way larger than I expected. The breakfast was a legit Marriott breakfast, with tons of items. The staff were super friendly, and I felt entirely safe here as a solo female traveler. I would 100% come back.
