Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Birmingham Fultondale/I-65

My wife had found this slot because we were in town for a girls basketball tournament. We drove 2:30 to get to the hotel and once we get there my wife has to use a traveler’s form to check into rooms. Keep in mind my wife has traveled all over this world and usually everyone at the Marriott properties are so kind and supportive , well not at this location!! The staff asked my wife to print the form off, so my wife proceeded to print but their computer was asking for a code or something, but neither staff member, the manager nor the front desk person knew what to do!! Any other property would just have her send a email, the manager says” WE dont do that here!! You have to print off!! Smh I told my wife lets go, and we went up the street to a Hilton property, which is always a better option!

The staff here is amazing. Nice, clean hotel. Spacious rooms. The hotel is older but very nice. I was amazed how quiet it is. Our reservation got confused (no ones fault) but the hotel staff was more than gracious and straightened everything out. The heating ac unit is a bit loud but I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We use Marriott properties frequently. Some in the chain are amazing and others are OK. This is a remodel of an older hotel. It is visible. A little tired but service are A+

The front staff were super nice and helpful when I checked in! Breakfast was perfect; clean tables and service area and just the right amount of selections. Especially with the hot items. My room was very clean and had quite a few free amenities.

This hotel is in a good location. It was clean. The bed was a little hard, but overall it was a good stay.
