Days Inn by Wyndham Fultondale

Positive: Price, cleanliness and Location…I stay here every time I come to Alabama. Negative: This time the room we had didn’t have a place to hang out clothes; which we were there for a week, if only a night or so wouldn’t have minded it. Also the other rooms I’ve stayed at here did have them.

Simple hotel but I have no complaints about the property. I needed a low priced hotel for an event I was attending nearby. It served it's purpose well. The room was decorated nice and the bed is firm, which I didn't mind. I didn't try the Wi-Fi nor breakfast so can't comment on those. But everything was functional and I'm happy I chose this location. (They did charge me a early check in fee as a Gold Wyndham Rewards Member). The outside sitting area is very nice.

We had to rush down to Birmingham for my father in laws funeral last week and I get a discount through my job with Wyndham so we choose to stay here for a few reasons and it was really nice. We spent so much money on this trip and we knew we were basically just going to be sleeping in the room bc we had so much to do so I didn't want to spend over a hundred dollars a night to sleep lol..I wasn't expecting much but I was surprised by how clean it was and I am glad we stayed there.

Huge bathroom and shower in the rooms we have stayed in. Big enough for a wheelchair or Walker. Safety rails all around the huge shower. Very clean. Pet friendly. My husband loves it here for the breakfast. My cat loves the window seat. LOL Bed is comfy. Did I mention the toilets aren’t hinky at all! They flush everything! We travel a lot and the place we used to stay the toilets were kinda iffy. We had a tiny fridge this time but it worked great. Froze our freezer packs overnight. We have found our new favorite! Also the parking area was well lit and we felt very safe here. I’ve stayed in sketchy before and this one isn’t. Also 100 dollar holds are standard operating procedure everywhere I’ve ever stayed. You get it back. 🙄

Nice clean hotel, excellent staffing good customer service. I want to know who the idiot was who decided to make the breakfast all vegan. Even vegan scrambled eggs. 1 to 3% of the population is vegan so you have alienated all the people who eat meat. I'll never return to that hotel again.
