Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Athens

New hotel, clean. The gym was nice, but floor was a little hard and they could use a couple yoga mats. Room was clean, comfy beds. Breakfast was good (not great, but adequate). Right off highway was convenient with a few restaurants near by.

This was an average hotel that you’d expect for the brand and the price point. The room was clean and quiet. I was disappointed, however, that the nightstands had neither an AC or USB outlet. ||The staff was knowledgeable and professional. ||The breakfast was the usual fare for this level of hotel, hence it was adequate. Even a picky pallet should find something. ||When in the area again I’d probably stay here.

Exceptional service by I believe his name was Jeff. We prefer Marriott over everywhere else because of service like his. The overall cleanliness was top notch and the breakfast was great! Thank you for making a quick overnight stay easy!

This place was really nice, and exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredible! They were all very polite, helpful and hard working, which is somewhat rare these days, so we greatly appreciated that! The complimentary hot breakfast was nothing fancy, but again, very nice as most Marriott's don't offer that. We would absolutely stay here again.

Such a lovely establishment! Clean rooms and pleasant staff. The breakfast was above expectation as well. Egg-bites and good oatmeal additions... a number of other details, but so nice!
