Econo Lodge Athens I-75

The non smoking rooms are awesome. The smoking rooms are horrible. The bathtubs in both rooms I stayed 2 nights were black. Even after I bleached them the bath tubs must never get cleaned here.

Lady at desk was excellent as always. However, the smoke alarm went off late evening giving four long screeches. New desk person says it’s because of heater going on for the first time.it happens sometimes. Guess what, went off two more times around 3am. Called the desk and he came and dismantled it and left. This place is now off our list to stay, since it’s under “new” management. Obviously, maintenance is not a priority.

Clean, Very Comfortable, Safe. I Travel through area a lot. Remodeled rooms. |New Owners. Pillows are soft. Friendly Staff.|I have stayed here many times and never had a bad experience. 5 stars easily. Easy, safe walk to Ruby Tuesday and Waffle House.

Mostly an excellent experience. Problem was with the shower. Doors need repair so that hey actually roll open an close. The shower faucet was sloppy and difficult to adjust. Room was clean and up to expectations.

The lady at the front was friendly. We booked this bc the reviews were good but when we got into our room on the second floor there were literally multiple roaches running around, we literally left the room within 2-3 minutes. My husband went to the office to ask for a refund, and they told him they could offer him a new room. He told them no thanks because if one room has roaches, they all will. The manager said their policy is that if they offer us another room they don't have to refund us, so we did not get our money back. He was very rude and this place was DISGUSTING.
