Americas Best Value Inn Athens, TN

Some rooms smell like mold or mildew, old and smoked in, staff is extremely lazy, toilet and sink got clogged up and they didn't want to do anything about it. Weekly rate is the only thing positive about this place, 385 a week 05/09/2025. Location is good it's right off 75. Place also has homeless camp near the speedway.

definitely worth the price. had a jetted tub extremely comfortable bed. not the most impressive look for a room but man the comfort out does the appearance.

Room was decent enough, property definitely needs remodeled...popcorn ceiling in bathroom was falling off, big crack in bathroom door, air conditioning didn't work the greatest (just a tad cooler than outside). No wifi and tv went in and out. Had to go ask front desk for towels, wash cloths and soap. Front desk lady was very helpful and kind.

This is the worst place we have ever stayed. Traveling from Texas to New Jersey on business. It was getting late so we pulled in. We checked in and went to the room exhausted. Getting ready to go to bed, pulled the quilt back and the sheets and pillows were spotted yellow stains. Called for new sheets and pillows and was told sending housekeeping. They never showed. Being exhausted we sprayed Lysol and we put our own blankets on bed. Woke up at 4:00 AM and OH MY GOODNESS nasty non quality towels and wash cloths. We brushed our teeth with bottle water and left. We had to clean the bathroom. We should have left but we were so tired and made the best of a nasty situation. Front desk could care less. We both are prior Army. I love it here. The staff are all super sweet. They have gone above and beyond to make me and my dog Snickers comfortable. They gave me an awesome discount for being a traveling Certified Nurse's Aide. If there's a problem, they address it right away. Snickers and I love our room here.
