Fairbanks Extended Stay

My husband and I stayed here for our honey moon. The biggest mistake almost ruined our trip experience. Worst hotel I’ve ever been to. The bed was broken. The bathroom was dirty with dog hair. The towels were stained, ripped and the room was old and musty. You could smell weed other people were doing and couldn’t get the breakfast that was promised with the stay. Would absolutely not recommend it 100 percent garbage. Spend a little more to have a nice place to stay.

The room was clean and spacious, featuring a large kitchen with full-sized stove and refrigerator, as well as microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker. It had a large walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. The amenities were great, more than expected. We loved the room so much that we extended our stay another two nights. Check-in is off-site and about 3 minutes away from location, but the slight inconvenience was more than offset by a very nice room that was an excellent bargain for the price! We will definitely stay there again! Also, a nice location near the university, and only about 7 minutes from town.

If I could give it a half a star, i would. I was not expecting much for the price and given all the other bad reviews, but I had no idea you would be this bad! The bathroom sink doesn't drain. The Teflon pans are so scratched up, you can see it flaking into your food. Had they coughed up a couple dollars and provided a silicone spatula, maybe they wouldn't be so scratched up? There are two coffee mugs, no glasses. Extremely limited leftover silverware, most of it stolen from a restaurant, including fast food as they are wrapped up plastic. There is not enough parking given the number of rooms which means if you come home late, you're going to have to park all the way out on the street because there are no parking spots. The hallway looks like a youth hostel. Thermostat is broken. THERE IS

This place is disgusting! If i could give it a zero rating, i would. It is run down and dirty. The outside of the building looks like a old run down hotel from the 70's. There is no where on Hotels.com that states this. The check in office is separated from the actual place you stay. The lady in the office said we could walk, its just around the corner. It was probably at least 1/4th a mile or more, which doesn't sound like a lot, but with 2 very large suitcases, a large backpack, a duffle bag and another small bag, its a lot. A young man who works there took us in a dirty van they use to where our room was. We had to climb 3 flights of stairs with all our luggage because there was no elevator. If I had known this I would have never booked this hotel. $170 dollars for a room that is horrib

This place seriously needs to change the name because I thought I got the hotel extended stay fairbanks and was disappointed when we drove into a neighborhood. This place calls it a few different names. The place was dirty, lady insisted on a larger room which was dirty. I felt so disgustingly dirty during my stay and when I left. I had to take another shower right away when we got to our better hotel. The breakfast room was filthy and cheap! I didn't eat and that's what I look forward to when I stay at a hotel. There was a bug in the bed and one of the beds looked like it had been slept in and blankets and sheets weren't made. The floor wasn't even mopped and I highly don't recommend this place at all!
