EZ Travel Inn

The room itself was passable but pretty dated. There was only 1 available outlet plug, and it was very loose and not secured well to the wall, and the door didn't seem very secure with a pretty big gap to the outside. The bathroom was in bad condition; the toilet wasn't secured well to the floor and moved around, there was rust in the shower, the ceiling vent was almost about to fall off, and there were multiple dents in the door that looked like someone punched them in. The location is fine and close to the places you'd need to be in College Station, but with traffic it can be difficult to get in and out since the only entrance is straight on Texas Ave.

The location and the employees are 5 star but the motel itself is probably a 2. This is my second stay and I'm sure I'll return since I rarely spend time in the room. ... The location is amazing. .. within a mile of A&M... across the street from Target and Outback Steakhouse. Grocery stores, Walmart, hobby lobby, starbucks, anything you could want within a mile or two. .. The employees have all been very friendly... even gave me a better rate than I had initially booked. The room is very basic. Typical motel decor. Clean but definitely nothing fancy. No little bottles of shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Our room was clean and neat! The bed was new after a recent remodel and the pillows were perfect! Free coffee every morning! The bed created very loudly on the side near the wall. Maybe some WD-40 on the springs would eliminate that. The staff was very kind and helpful! We will be back soon! The bed doesn't squeak any more. We spent almost a week here recently

The stay wasn't great; check-in was slow and there were a few nights without housekeeping, although the location was indeed quite good.

It’s a good place for the price to have somewhere to sleep for a few days. It’s not a luxurious place. The rooms are outdated, the blankets had tears and cigarette holes. The cleaning lady was not so nice, when she came by to the room we asked her to throw the trash away and she said that she had already thrown her trash and that we’d have to do it. She pointed in the direction where we could throw our trash. She was rude about it too. The front desk clerk was respectful and answered our questions, he also helped my daughter’s friends with a door key without hesitation! Even though it was inexpensive, I don’t think I will stay there again.
