Extended Stay America Suites- Phoenix - Scottsdale - Old Town

On 12/3/2025 I reserved a room at the extended stay of America from 12/5/2025 until 1/4/2025 Confirmation No # 9604310707. When I arrived for check-in on 12/5/2025 I was not informed by the staff that the hot water was not working since 12/4/2025. Another hotel guest informed me about this matter. The staff at the front desk informed me that it was too late to receive a refund even if I cancelled. I honored my side of the reservation and the Extended Stay of America did not have hot water from Friday 12/5/2025 - Monday 12/8/2025. On Sunday 12/7/2025 A notice from Hotel Management was posted on my door notifying me that a plumber would be on site for repairs. Additionally, A working kitchenette is advertised on the company website however when I checked into the room the hot plate burners w

Good location, terrible service at the front desk. We had to wait 20 to 30 mins at checkin. The lady the front desk had no idea what she was doing. She did not know how to work the check in computer nor could she figure out to use the point of sale terminal. The was only one person ahead of us and it still took that long. This is not the kind of service I expect at extended stay america.

This was by far the worse experience that I have had traveling and staying at Extended Stay. In such a beautiful part of Arizona it left a really unsolicited taste in my mouth. The room was almost like an old bates horror movie. It was dunk, rank smelling the lights were half working and sockets not screwed in properly. I was over charged for a place that had prostitution and sales going on and the young kid named Thomas had no idea how to handle guest relations. I however when I first checked in was greeted with kindness but that was short lived. I travel a lot with my dogs and unfortunately here I didn’t even feel safe enough to walk them long, it was just enough to let them release and back in. Great stay at America Suites today. The staff are friendly. Samantha, Lillian, and Latoya are very nice to us. Room is clean and water is hot. Location is good with all kind of food nearby. Breakfast bar is small but cute. Will definitely come back.

Positive: "" Negative: Most of the residents are there long term and some appeared to be down and out. Very sad. The kitchen was empty and I had to go to the office to get a few dishes. The breakfast was coffee tea and sugary muffins only. it was difficult to find the office
