Extended Stay America Suites- Palm Springs - Airport

Calling this place the Spirit Airlines of hotels would be generous. From the moment I arrived, it was clear the property was dirty and in disrepair. My room had visible dust and areas that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The hotel seems severely understaffed—requests for basic items like dishes and a hair dryer went unanswered. I had to call again the next day to pick up incomplete dishes at the front desk, and I didn’t receive a hair dryer until my last night. Staff mentioned they were out of pillowcases, and overall they seem low on essentials. Amenities are bare bones: no shampoo unless you ask, no ice machines (just flimsy trays that broke immediately), no hot tub, no gym, and housekeeping only twice a week if requested. Positive: The pool and location Negative: Key cards constantly failed, the first room had a broken fridge, and the second room had a terrible mattress. Curtains had holes, walls were dirty, and basic amenities like ice, forks, and a hair dryer were missing.

I had an incredible experience at the Extended Stay America in Palm Springs, and it’s all thanks to Mike. From the moment I arrived, the whole check-in process was smooth and easy because of him. He has been remarkably helpful the entire time during my stay, always making sure everything was handled. Honestly, I will be coming back to this location specifically because of Mike and the excellent service he provides. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about the guests, he’s the one!

Had to literally complain every night to the front desk, because of noise coming from the room next to me at all hours of the day & night. Baby screaming and young kids being loud all night long. Complained. But Management was unwilling to move them, when rooms were coming open and being cleaned every day! I am being retaliated against for complaining to corporate over favortism and the genetal manager going rogue and treating guests unfair. So basically it was a big FU. Shut up and deal with it attitude. Since I am here on business, I will continue to post everytime this kind of stuff comes up! Especially when paying the amount of money that I am paying. Esmeralda checked us in and was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, thorough and fast. Overall, a fantastic employee. Amenities exceeded our expectations and the cleanliness was excellent. The Palm Springs ESA is highly recommended, and we enjoyed our stay. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to add a more comfortable toilet seat. Additionally, the "grab and go breakfast" had great-tasting coffee and a nice selection of morning snacks.
