Extended Stay America Suites- Minneapolis - Maple Grove

I travel quite a bit for work, so I get to experience a lot of different types of hotel staff and management. This particular hotel has an OUTSTANDING CREW ran by Tashea. I not only felt obligated to leave a review, I sincerely hope you guys see this and have a short moment of recognition. If anyone ever wants to know how a hotel should be ran, they should stay her and talk to Tashea and her crew. Wonderful stay, because of your staff my 2 weeks here flew by. The amount of professionalism and care you guys showed for your jobs is truly amazing, l and I wish all the hotels I stay in could do a job like you guys. Thank you!

A reservation had been made for a three week stay. | Dates: 07/19/2025 thru 08/09/2025.||Our drive from Phoenix, Arizona included a large amount of road construction. We knew that we would not make the check-in times, and called the office at the location listed above. We stated that we would be arriving at around 2:30-3:00am.||We arrived and found a young lady that attempted to be helpful, she was very nice and tried all that she seemed to know to do. She stated that she was mostly there for house-keeping and had never checked a customer in before. To say that she was not trained well is an understatement.||We spent about 20 minutes waiting for her to find a room, she finally found a room and brought up to it. We accessed the room and she promptly left. The room had a very bad odor

Positive: In contrast, my recent rental experience was far from satisfactory. While I had previously rented from your company approximately 10-15 years ago I recall that the property included essential amenities such as dishes, pots, pans, and other household items Negative: However, my recent rental was a stark departure from that experience. Upon arriving, I was shocked to discover that the property was infested with drug addicts and drug paraphernalia, both inside and outside the premises.The Outside doors, didn't work.

What you must know about this location is great if you are in the area, but the staff/manager there is behaving in unethical manners that does not reflect the company policy let alone have respect for residency itself. The female manager (SHEA) has been engaging relationships with the resident husbands/boyfriends. Showing inappropriate behaviors. She has caused great harm not only to my family but others as well. I have a list of proof of what she has done these past 5 months while I and my family where staying there during our vulnerable time. She caused the split between my fiance and I and that was unacceptable. Please be careful if you have husbands, boyfriends, or any love ones, if she sees what she likes, she will approach.

I've read all the reviews, and yes I've seen what people are saying. The thing about this location, is to a lot of people there, it is home. Including my family. The people that work and live there are nice. The hotel is under new management and he is doing a great job to revamp and make changes. It will take time. Changes don't happen overnight. The people I see coming and going and not living there full time is construction workers. If you are going expecting perfect, you won't find it, but you will find humans living their lives, including the people working there. Everyone is human. The will work to make your stay as good and well as they can. P.S. they also allow pets.
