Pretty nasty place. I had cockroaches in my room. They employee Chris is very rude and miserable. The owners hide behind her so they have no responsiblity. I stayed there for weeks. I had limited funds and was in town to work. The cleaners would come in my room when I wss gone,when i asked that they dont. I smoked at the time so I didnt mind the smell of cig smoke. There is no breakfast or coffee. My ac and heater didnt work. Had to use electric heater. The cleaners there had 5 dogs that stayed in the room with them. They crapped all over the yard. Anyways. Nasty place,rude owners and employees. If you are broke stay with the roaches. If not, find another place.

BUYER BEWARE. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I booked the Coratel Inn MN online for a work trip using my company card. After booking, I received a message from the property saying they required a $100 cash deposit, refundable only after they “inspected” the room — and they refused to accept a card. This was never stated clearly at the time of booking and completely unreasonable for business travelers. The woman at the front desk was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I explained my situation in detail and remained polite, but she showed zero empathy or concern. Her tone was condescending, and she seemed to take satisfaction in making things difficult. Positive: Nothing Negative: They would not let us use our reservation without 100 deposit. My fiancé had the cash and they told him it had to be on a card but told me it had to be cash. The woman at the desk had the nerve to ask my fiancé if he spoke English.

I never got in - despite a confirmed reservation, made 7-10 days prior, and mid-afternoon call ahead on my day of arrival to be sure I could check in late. When I arrived at 10pm the check-in person, per a sign taped adjacent to the check-in window, required a $100 cash deposit since I hadn’t prepaid on a credit card at a lower price. I was completely unaware of this cash deposit requirement when I made my reservation. An older woman, traveling alone, I don’t carry anywhere near that much cash, much less would I go to an ATM to get it at that hour. Happily, I found another hotel that was glad to take my credit card, with no cash deposit - my experience with Asteria was decidedly poor.

Make sure to ask if yer room has a tub or shower.. ask if it has a hair dryer if needed. My lighting on my second stay is horrible. I like to use them for multiple things like drying hand washed items and such. They do not serve coffee as advertised. But the rooms are comfortable. Staff is generous and nice. A 30 min walk to the central park of maple grove which is beautiful. Rooms are very cheap. Make sure to have a 100 dollar CASH deposit at check-in. If you use a booking company. It might not be mentioned
