Extended Stay America Suites- Lubbock - Southwest

I recently stayed at this property, and I have to say the place has changed a lot. I’ve stayed here before, and the service back then wasn’t the best. This time, it felt completely different. The staff were warm and attentive, especially Bob, who treated guests with real care, patience and made check-in easy, which I appreciated after a long day. The place felt cleaner, quieter, and more organized than it ever did in the past. You can tell the new management actually listens and wants to make the hotel better. Overall, it was a comfortable and positive stay, and I’m genuinely impressed with how much the property has improved. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Nice staff, however service is horrible. They run out of clean linens and provide dusty, icthy sheets that do not fot the bed or pillows. Reported that my stove was not working the maintenance man push burner in hatd, made it work for two days then it worked intermittently. Finally another maintenance came to my door never came 8n to check the stove. He decided he needed to replace it but tomorrow.... I return to hotel to find mattresses in frpnt of my door and noone available to move it put of the way. The worst is that I have now been here for 8 nights and housrkeeping still has not come to clean my room. The walls are so thin I can here other guests cough, clear their throat and sneeze. Hear parents talking to their kids, etc

I was shocked when I had to leave a $100 deposit at check in. But it was explained to me that people bring pets that they don't register &this is one of the causes, which I get. But I didn't have much hope for the room after that. But I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms are. I really enjoyed the lounger while drinking my coffee. The rooms come with a little kitchen which had an apartment sized refrigerator. The bed was comfy & the bathroom was nice. They don't have a bathtubs, but the shower was nice. The staff where friendly & helpful &it was just overall a great stay.

ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! One star is too high of a rating for this place. Had to be in Lubbuck for a death in the family, it just so happened to be a big game weekend. Therefore, we could not find any other room available in town. The room thay normally cost $49 a night was $225. We found a razor blade on the floor in our room. Luckily we found it before our 10 month old twins got cut. We asked them to come back in, deep clean and have management call me. The room was half ass swept and then left our door open for over 8 hours. I had to get on my hands and knees and use the bath towels and dish soap to mop the floor so we didnt have to feel the gritty dirt under our shoes. We also found blood on the mattress. Eventually we realized $300 cash missing from my makeup bag.||Here we are 33 ho
