Extended Stay America Suites- Atlanta - Northlake

This hotel should be condemned. People hanging out in the parking lot smoking and drinking. My family came to Atlanta's for my nephew's high school graduation. So we did not get to the room until about midnight because e were at my sisters. As we arrive people in parking lot drinking and smoking. As we walk into hallway it angela like cigarettes and weed. We get to our door and a couple on the floor like they are about to get intimate. At this point I know I'm not staying here but it's late and I can't check into another hotel until the morning. As we go inside the room the floor has layers of dirt and the curtains had stains on them that I can't make out. The bathroom is disgusting as rust and mold are all over. Positive: Staff Negative: Outdated and in need of repair and updates. The place smelled really bad, and might have been bug spray. I hate it sleeping there and having to breathe that terrible smell all night. This place is so in need of repair. Terrible terrible terrible hotel.

Not a right place. I check into this hotel on Friday 30th of January 2026, i paid for a reservation and checked in on friday to check out on Tuesday 3rd February, due to change of activities that brought me to Atlanta, i had to extended my stay, i walked into the front counter, met the receptionist and told her i wanted my accormodation to be extended for me to check out on Sunday 8th of February instead of checking out on Tuesday 3rd. She did her calculations and gave me the amount to pay, i paid with my credit and my stay was extended to check out on Sunday morning. By Saturday 7th i was coming from my interview just to realize my electronic key to my room was not working, i went to the front counter to complain for a new one to be activated only to be asked to pay additional money. Although I did receive a full refund the following day, the circumstances surrounding this stay caused significant inconvenience, emotional distress, health concerns, and safety issues that warrant corporate review and further action. I booked my reservation approximately a week and a half in advance. Prior to my arrival, I contacted the hotel to confirm my reservation details and to ask about the latest check-in time so that my room would not be released. The hotel could use a little attention. The staff was good but some are not in the mood to help but probably a little overworked. No breakfast at this site so plan accordingly. The area was well kept but its not uncommon to see people outside late relaxing and being social. Never felt uncomfortable or out of place and over good atmosphere.
