Extended Stay America Select Suites- Ocala

Positive: The security of the doors made you feel safe. Negative: The room has very bad roaches. The front desk lady Patricia was rude on the phone and in person.

I stayed here for 3 days because it was cheap, but should have read the reviews a bit more carefully. This place is not really a hotel. It is more of a short-term rental housing spot, so if you are looking for basic hotel amenities like an ice machine and a decent place to sit in your room other than the bed, look elsewhere. I was greeted when I turned on the light by a few scurrying cockroaches. The TV had to be re-set twice to get any channels, and the only chairs in the room were hard plastic. There is a full sized frig, but it didn't have an ice maker or even ice trays to mak your own. On the positive side, the staff was nice and the price was right. The bed was reasonably comfortable. There is a very good BBQ place next door if you don't want to drive anywhere to eat.

Great location just the people sitting in front of the building and the excessive trash is what gets me.

Don’t think it was a good idea for someone to put out the Google review in this place because it was absolutely horrible roaches, dirty floors that have not been mopped in months, dirty towels that were stained .The Room smell was awful. It smelt like wet dog and mold it felt like we were camping outside because we were wet from the dew in the room .The walls the outlet we’re dirty you could tell they had roach eggs and all kinds of other stuff on there. The blinds were sticky. The air conditioner was disgusting. Thank goodness I had a can of Lysol with me. I can’t believe that this site was actually on booking. The only reason we stayed was because it was so late because it was so late and exhausted. It’s a shame that you can’t put a negative review because one star still gets them somet

The staff at Extended Stay truly is wonderful. Everyone is helpful, they are understanding about life. Our room was clean and check in was simple. Destinie treated us with perfect respect and was knowledgeable about the things we had questions about. Rose was super nice as well as Ta'Shara and Patricia. We will for sure be staying again!
