Extended Stay America Select Suites- Atlanta - Buckhead

I am a traveling professional who has been at this location for about two months now and I will start by saying that the staff are friendly and welcoming. They really do their best to accommodate you and make sure everything goes smoothly with your stay. Bianca is a staff member there and she really seems to have the best interest of the hotel at heart. For the most part, the hotel is clean. The best part about this hotel is all of the staff and that they make an effort to keep things in order. The location is great. High police presence, quiet, within two minutes walking distance of Kroger & Walgreens and many food places right down the road.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE!! Let's get into it!! First off the beds are horrible. The whole hotel smelled like weed the entire stay. Eventhough we purchased a non-smoking room the room still smelled like smoke! The furniture was loose and dirty. The hot water didn't get that hot at all. You had people that hadn't even purchased rooms hanging around all night. At times the key cards didn't even work!! There was no door handle on one of the back doors (which was obviously a safety issue). Even after hours the entrance door key scanner didn't work causing you to have to walk around the back of the building to enter!. The handicap push button didn't work. The guest were very loud to the point that we had to beat on the ceiling for them to stop. Eventhough it was a pet friendly hotel there should

Abou, the property manager at this location and his team: Davon, Bianca, Kal, and Rodney offer excellent service specific to your needs, and circumstances. Abou has gone above and beyond to be accommodating, making sure that my family, and I had a safe place to stay. I appreciate being seen as a person, and not just a reservation filling a room. The kindness, and empathy received by Davon was heart warming. The welcoming energy extended by Bianca has been a joy. The authentic conversations with Kal made me feel seen as a guest. Thank you all for doing a great job of showing up for me and my family. Many blessings to you all!

I am absolutely disgusted by our experience at Extended Stay America Select Suites – Atlanta – Buckhead. We paid $219.59 for one night on Valentine’s Day, February 14, expecting a clean, safe, and comfortable room, and instead walked into what can only be described as a nightmare. The stench in the room was indescribable, with a heavy smoke smell so strong it was overwhelming; I barely slept and felt sick when I woke up. The curtains would not close, creating a privacy issue and allowing a loud, bright light to shine into the room all night. The pillow smelled moldy, the bathtub did not drain, the room was not clean, did not match what was advertised, and several amenities were broken and in poor condition.
