evo Hotel Tahoe City

We stayed here while skiing at Palisades and enjoyed our stay. There room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed the sauna. Staff is friendly and we loved that it was dog-friendly. There’s no special frills but it was comfortable after a full day on the slopes! Parking can be difficult, especially during the weekends.

The location was highly accessible to major ski resorts and conveniently close to Palisades Tahoe and Donner Lake. The reception service was absolutely incredible—especially Erin at the front desk. She consistently went above and beyond to help guests in any way she could, whether that meant providing car scrapers or offering a local’s advice on how to spend time around Lake Tahoe. The rooms were very clean and fully met the standards of a four-star hotel. We experienced no noise issues during our two-day stay, and the atmosphere was quiet, welcoming, and relaxing, making it an ideal place to unwind after a full day on the slopes.

Love this place! The location is perfect with the lake right across the street and the Sierra Surf Club is such a vibe! Excellent cocktails and good food. All the staff from hotel/check-in, to rentals/shop, bar and restaurant are awesome! And another great restaurant - Sylva - is just a couple doors down. Super convenient to be able to rent (or buy!) ski/snowboard gear on site, and/or pick up any last minute accessories, clothing etc. Extra love for the rooms with balconies and that they love pets! They even gift you the cutest welcome pack for your dog 🥰 My only note is that it would be rad if the rooms had a Bluetooth speaker/ way to play music ☺️

This hotel was spectacular. It is across the street from the lake. I felt safe during my stay. It has a large parking lot for guest only. The room was modern and spacious. I was extremely satisfied. Hotel was staffed with polite and friendly staff. Thank you for the great experience.

We stayed here for a quick weekend honeymoon in late summer and it was perfect! The location couldn't have better. Everyone we interacted with at the desk was incredible, any question we had they were quick to text us back on and they quickly delivered towels to our room when we asked. We loved having access to the sauna and cold tub. The rooms are comfortable but feel a little diy remodel. We wouldn't trade anything for the location and walkability but I would describe this as more of a modern cabin feel vs serious luxury hotel. I also love my sweatshirt -- best Tahoe sweatshirt I saw on our trip!
