EVEN Hotel New York - Times Square South by IHG

The location was excellent—everything was close and within walking distance, yet the area was not crowded at all. It felt very convenient without the usual New York hustle. The hotel atmosphere was very quiet and calm. There was no noise, no traffic sounds at night, and no waiting for elevators, which made our stay very relaxing.||I stayed with my daughters for three nights, and it was a very pleasant experience. The room was nice, clean, and well maintained. Room service was also very good.||In terms of value, the hotel felt a bit pricey, but since I stayed in December, this may be average pricing for New York during that time. After an incredibly rainy and downright miserable weekend in New York, this hotel was truly a bright spot in our trip. We arrived soaked and weary after walking from Penn Station with two young children, and everyone was feeling the weight of the day—until we were greeted by Esther at the front desk. Esther’s warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality instantly lifted our spirits. She was not only pleasant and personable but went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Her care set the tone for our entire stay and spoke volumes about the standard of service at this hotel. Our room was clean and cozy, and while the double beds felt a bit small for our family, the location couldn’t have been more perfect. The accommodation was clean and well heated. The bedding was comfortable, and the shower worked well. The hotel is conveniently located close to attractions, and the subway station is nearby. All of the staff were very kind and helpful.||As a downside, like many hotels in New York, the rooms are connected, so noise from neighboring rooms can be heard clearly. The ice machine on our floor was out of order, but since it was winter and we didn’t need it, this wasn’t an issue for us.||Overall, I would recommend this hotel for those using Penn Station or traveling for business.

We recently stayed at the EVEN Hotel Times Square South and overall had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern. Sure, they are on the smaller side, but well designed and practical for a New York stay. And with fitness equipment in the room, which we never used, haha. What really stood out, though, was the service. We had a few hiccups with the food and beverage experience early in our stay (despite Armando the bar tender trying his best with no stock), but once we shared our feedback, the team couldn’t have handled it better. Edward (the F&B manager) and Nyeenya (the front desk manager) both went above and beyond to make things right and ensure we left happy. We were here this weekend for the Westminster dog show. Rooms were slightly small, but very comfortable. Staff was amazingly nice. The place is clean. Beds were comfortable. I would probably recommend it and I would probably stay here again. Oh yeah showers were huge warm and had great water pressure.
