EVEN Hotel New York - Midtown East by IHG

Such solid customer service - I was incredibly impressed. I was traveling with a friend ave when we went to check in, they had us down for a single king size bed. While I've known this friend almost as long as my husband, we weren't ready to take the relationship to the next level (haha). The front desk staff was awesome and, even though they had to juggle some things, they got us a room with two double beds. Throughout the stay the staff was so helpful, finding info for us, helping us with some unexpected first aid and just being generally super kind abs helpful. The hotel and room were clean, upgraded, and comfortable, not in the middle of a super touristy area (which was perfect for us because it was quiet and we don't mind uber or public transport), and had great amenities. Wonderful travel experience here at this hotel. It is in a great area of midtown New York. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to knowing the area well. The manager was able to upgrade the room to give my mom a wonderful experience for her birthday. We spent the day traveling around with my camera admiring the cultural influences the city has to offer through Art at the MoMA. Afterwards we found a delicious Italian restaurant not too far from the hotel. This hotel is not only very clean and modern the coffee bar has a certain atmosphere as well as the bar. The room was elevated on the 27th floor overlooking the Chrysler building as it illuminated the city skyline at night. We stayed for a week for our trip in NYC. The rooms are adequately sized for 2 large luggages. The hotel is located in a quieter location compared to Times Square and less than 10 minutes walk from grand central station. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The location of the hotel is perfect, a block from Grand Central Midtown. The staff at reception are friendly and check in was easy. The room had everything you need. A nice view of the city, large bed, coffee machine and TV. The air-conditioning appeared to be on the blink and was very noisy. The room was mostly tidy, bathroom could have done with a slightly more thorough clean but overall it was okay. Size wise it was okay for one person, 2 persons for a few days maybe a squeeze. As for the ammentaties, There is coffee pods in the room but no water and this appears to be a bit of an oversight. The hotel was pretty quiet once you were in your room, in my room the plugs were a bit intermittent. Overall a really good hotel for location. I would definitely return

This hotel is great! The front desk staff and bartender are so nice and accommodating and our room was very clean! Shower is nice and hot and pressure is great! We were there for my cousin’s 15th birthday, so they upgraded our room so we had a nice view and gave us late check out for free! Location is also great! Away from all the hustle and bustle but still very close to subways stations to get places.
