Equus Inn

Heading south we stopped at the Equus Inn. Check in was quick and efficient. Our room was clean and everything worked well. Liked the policy of quiet time from 10 till 8 that ensured a good night's sleep. The shower was to die for. Large head producing great water flow. And great hot water. Morning breakfast mirrored othe hotels but was really good. The only thing we missed was cookie time from 8 to 8:30 every evening. Worth the stop great price , great staff , great hidden treasure

I was a little nervous about booking this hotel due to the condition of hotels like this in bigger cities. Wow, I was so impressed! This hotel is so clean. The bed is comfortable. The water is hot and the water pressure in the shower is great! The employees are amazing! I felt safe. The location is amazing! I loved everything about my stay there.

Positive: Excellent stay. Beautiful place. Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. Helpful for restaurant suggestions. I would stay again. Told friends about it if the are staying in that area. Negative: No complaints. The pool was closed for repairs. My only downside.

The rooms were very nice, and appeared to be redone recently. While the exterior is one of an older hotel, it is well cared for and the rooms are clean and modern. There is a pool on property, and they have two interesting outside seating areas, one with a fire feature and one with a water feature. Very close to many things and food and shopping are within walking distance. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again.

Dania needs to learn to smile and be more welcoming and hospitable! It’s a hotel, you’re working in the hospitality business! The room was updated. The remote turned the TV on but wouldn’t work or turn the TV off. Had to unplug it. The pillows were so flat, even 2 together weren’t enough to make a fluffy normal pillow. Oh, and then when the neighbors come blasting in after midnight, yelling and playing loud music, you can hear EVERYTHING through the walls. Had to call the front desk. Music ended up stopping but it sounded like bowling balls were being dropped on the floor. Can’t imagine having the room below! Just connected to the WiFi and in doing so read about self serve beer & wine in the lobby. Wow, maybe the hotel guest attendant might have thought to mention some of the amenities
