Encore Suni Sands

Sunrise Sands is a great place to stay, whether you are camping long term or for just a short stay. The manager Riley is wonderful. He is so friendly and helpful and Pam, the gal in the office is a real sweetheart. Also it is very well situated for all kinds of shopping, varied activities and entertainment. Love going there.

We stayed in our own unit ||Everything ran smoothly as usual. ||We got our usual exceptional welcome from Pam in the office and met the new maintenance person and the new manager as well all seemed very nice sadly the new maintenance guy ( David ) got a new job and left just after we all decided he was a perfect addition to the encore crew also met the newest maintenance person prior to our leaving the park. Also deciding he was very good addition.

This is the friendliest park we have ever stayed in. It’s small and convenient to grocery store and restaurants.

Pro. Friendly people. Amazing pool that is long enough to do laps. Huge hot tub. Both open 24/7. Big bonus! Walmart Superstore right next door. A very easy walk. We would take their cart back to our RV, then return it. Con. Out by airport so can’t hear yourself talk when jets fly overhead. This RV park is older with some disrepair.

We stayed as Thousand Trails guests. It’s right in Yuma and you’ll experience jet noise anywhere in town, but that will be experienced anywhere in town. The staff and residents were very welcoming and the pool was well maintained. A refreshing and convenient bonus was the locking gate and very short walk to the Walmart. You can even bring the shopping cart back to your site and Walmart picks it up. Thanks for a nice stay.
