Encore Sherwood Forest

We like Encore Sherwood Forest campground. We LOVE the dog park and many friends our Indie makes here. Dislikes: no security guard or gate. We loved our site #647, but uncomfortable because of the security. We also find it noisy - fire/ems sirens often, because it’s right off of 192. Never see maintenance or any staff unless you go into the office. Bingo on Thursdays is fun. This is our third stay here.

For half the price of Fort Wilderness you can enjoy Disney ! I used Rideshare to go to and from Parks. The rides were 10 minutes each. What I also like about Sherwood Forest RV is it is a large park to ride my bike around. They have planned activities almost every day even though I didn't participate. They have a nice pool, but it was too cold to use this trip.Just outside of Park there is a grocery store, a drug store, and eating places. I ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel each morning. Most sites are grass and have full hook ups and cable. Perfect place for Disney on a budget.

Don't worry, I will not be back!||Cancelled my future reservations in February and March. Plenty of other RV Parks with good management. ||Received the worst RV sites in the current stay and future sites, even though the future sites were premier sites.||Sites 647 and 537 are marked premium but 75% of standard sites are in better shape.||My site was under pine trees dripping pine sap and needles.||If a better site is available, staff should have the decency to move that occupant.||When I asked them to move me from the current and future sites it was like talking to a brick wall. It was a Win-Lose strategy by them. Enen though the entire time I was there several standard sites allocated to Thousand Trails members were vacant.||When I asked staff to change future sites, they indicated it was

🆘 BE WARNED ⚠️ This place gets fake reviews to boost their Google rating. This RV park is the definition of slumlord park. The bath house showers are dated, floors are cracked, and toilets are always left full of unflushed poo 💩 and no toilet paper. There are abandoned trailer houses scattered across the property that are falling apart, covered in wasps nest, the main entrance road is paved nicely but soon as you pull past the pay booth the roads have potholes in them bad enough to break your RV rim. They claim they have pools and hot tub available but they keep the gate locked 24/7 and use the excuse they are under maintenance. If you stay more than a week and confront the front desk about the amenities their story changes to "they don't have a lifeguard available" so the pool and hot

This is our second stay at Sherwood Forest. It is a perfect location to the parks and we also attended the Central Florida Highland Games in Winter Springs FL and it was only about a 45 minute ride. We like that the sites are well spaced and the entire campground is clean.
