Encore Fun-N-Sun

I visited and the service was very friendly and everyone is very nice. There is plenty to do. I very much like that everyone picks up after their pups because it makes any place much better. The amenities are unmatched for the price. They have a pool and a big hottub. They have an RC racetrack a dance hall, a rec hall, a really nice gym, professional shuffleboard, professional billiards, an art room, a music room. They have a really cute train that goes around the park every week that you can ride for free. They have a post office (the lady that works there is SO sweet. I adore her). They have bingo every Thursday night. They have a beauty salon, a library, and they have several dog parks. Also, they have a little mini golf course. It really is a great place. It is a gated community.

Went for their annual 50+ pickleball tournament. It's a great facility (5 indoor courts), everyone is incredibly nice, and the tournament is run smoothly. It's a great place with great people. The park has great amenities. Highly recommended!

So we rent our unit - this year management decided to charge the owners another $90 per person to rent out their units. Wondering if that is even legal. Wouldn't that be double dipping since the owner already pays a monthly rent. Why should Emcore get a cut of thier rent??|We will be assessing whether to come down again next year. |Sad. My husband and I have been to Fun-N-Sun many times. First visiting my parents, and now as owners of a park model that we stay in for a week or two at a time. The two things we enjoy the most are the people and the activities. There is something for everyone. Our favorites are the pool and hot tub, learning to play shuffleboard, walk-fit classes, happy hours, and the organized meals like the Saturday AM breakfasts in the Rec Hall, and Wednesday lunches put on by the Wood Shop volunteers. And we love he ice cream socials which were met with controversy this year when prices went up to $5 but with music and all-you-can-eat Blue Bell ice cream, we think we get our money's worth! We've enjoyed getting to know others - mostly newly retired people like us -- and we seem to have a lot

Just wanted to share some thoughts from someone who’s been around for over seven years and is pretty invested. There’s a lot of dissatisfaction within the park. The new manager doesn’t seem to connect with guests. Her body language suggests she might not be very warm or caring. Because of this, the changes she’s implementing feel random, like they’re coming from a big company with no experience at this park and the felt needs of the guests and residents.||It’s hard to believe this park gets such great reviews with the aging infrastructure, the narrow streets, the potholes, the loose gravel, the wi-fi that’s often out, the RV sewer ports that aren’t capped, the water and electric outages, and the old, abandoned trailers.||What makes this park so popular, and why do we keep coming back?
