RV camping in the fall (end of September) was perfect. Not crowded. Full amenities - water, power and sewer right on site. Some sites are pull-thru and some are back up but very easy to get to. Beautiful views of thw lake. But the place is hot and crowded in summer with scarce shade.
Beautiful lake, beautiful scenery. We were there mid September and it was pretty quiet. Beautifully maintained park settings surround half of the lake. Only complaint is there are lots of stickers in the lake bed and that didn't go well with my Labradoodle's fur.
Very convenient to the Hwy and the town of Ashland. Campsites are lakefront with both pull-thru and back-in sites. Clean restrooms with hot showers. Pet friendly, Wilma loved it. Hiking trail from camp follows the lake thru an oak forest with wildflowers, manzanita and madrone trees - plus lake views! Very nice but it can get hot in the afternoon. Fishing was good in the morning, both for us and the resident osprey.
Staying at the RV park at Emigrant Lake. Great place to stay. Clean. Quiet. The views of the lake are super, especially now there is a lot more water. Been here two years running. Will be back next year as well.
Emigrant Lake Campground is a hidden gem nestled just outside of Ashland, Oregon. My stay here was nothing short of amazing. The campground offers a perfect blend of scenic beauty, peaceful surroundings, and easy access to outdoor recreation. Whether you’re in a tent or RV, the campsites are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully laid out—many with stunning lake views that make waking up each morning feel like a retreat into nature. What I appreciated most was the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Even during busier weekends, it never felt overcrowded or chaotic. The sunsets over the lake were breathtaking, and we spent our evenings around the firepit enjoying the stillness. The proximity to the water made it easy to enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, and swimming, and the boat ramp is super convenient
