Embassy Suites

I booked this stay using Hilton Points. The room and pool area are was very nice. Room had a stove and full size fridge. If you were looking to stay for the week with family it would work out well if it weren't for the other issues. There is no shuttle to the airport, the shuttle to and from the parks only goes to some of the parks so you have to take other transportation from there. The whole area is very large so it is a lot of walking. Something to consider if you have mobility issues. Our room wasn't ready when we got there, and then it still wasn't ready at 3pm, I tried calling the desk at 4 And The front desk phones don't work, and didn't work the whole weekend, and the security guard said they never work I finally went to the front desk and got my room around 5. The room itself was nice, but that was about the only thing we enjoyed. We stayed here two nights for our wedding. While my wife was trying to have her hair and makeup done for one of the most important days of her life, security came by two separate times BANGING on the door claiming they needed to "check our tv". Incredibly unprofessional behavior. And of course they have non-negotiable hidden "resort" fees for amenities that we didn't even use. There are dozens and dozens of hotels and resorts in the Central Florida area, stay somewhere other than here.

Every suite is a timeshare you are renting from Hilton, this isn't an Embassy by Hilton. Make sure to reserve your shuttle from the airport, it's 45 min from Orlando. I strongly believe against timeshares and they need to be outlawed.

This is not an Embassy Suites we come to love with its atrium and two room suites. This is a bait and switch, con-do operation. It is more like a Residence inn or Town Place Suites trading on the Embassy suites reputation. Shame on Hilton for allowing them to use the Embassy Suites name on a bunch of time-share condos. Furthermore, if you need a closet to hang up your clothes, DO NOT select the studio suites. There are no closets for guest. The condo owner has them locked up and you have no access. If you discover all this to late, their only option is to offer you a room with a closet for $65 or more, or “go somewhere else.” It is a new property and in a good location, but it is not, and never will be an Embassy Suites that you are expecting.
