Embassy Suites by Hilton New York Manhattan Times Square

I stayed at Embassy Suites New York Midtown Manhattan for my birthday trip to NYC, just ten days after an unexpected surgery and several days in the hospital. I arrived around 2 PM, two hours before check-in, and the receptionist Bindiya kindly checked me in early after hearing that I was still recovering. She even gave me chocolates and snacks and told me to contact her anytime if I needed assistance — such a thoughtful gesture. Since I’ve visited NYC many times before, I simply wanted a quiet place to rest and recover, and the hotel was perfect for that. The evening reception and complimentary breakfast made it easy to relax without needing to go out in the snowy weather. Thank you to Bindiya and the entire staff for making my birthday stay so comfortable and memorable.

Positive: Clean and good location Negative: Room was not where we asked for. Water leaked into room from above into shower, closet and main room. We lost power because of a/c water leak. We had to change hotels at 11pm. No help from staff. Total mess. Still waiting on refund.

Not typical with the brand, poorly cleaned, elevators slow (up button on the 12 floor taped off and inoperative) was treated to funk music blaring during breakfast. That will get you moving for the day, because if you’re counting on the coffee that’s not going to cut it, very poor coffee. Gym was furnished well, and also doubles as a sauna. Just remodeled the breakfast/dining area and choose to keep the original tables and chairs that add a nice ambiance of “we tried, but not too hard”. Which is perfectly fitting as a tag line for this hotel.

We have been coming here for the past 4 years (NY Rangers & Cornell Men’s hockey games) and love the hotel & location. The rooms & lobby are very clean. We love parking is attached to the hotel. They offer a great breakfast buffet with so much to choose from. They also offer a happy hour on the 4th floor with 2 drinks (wine, beer & their special drink) per person and an appetizer buffet.||I’d like to give a shout out to Dino & Adam the bell porter/concierge!! It is so nice to walk into a hotel and have these 2 men at the door always with a smile on their faces no matter how busy they are. You feel like a long lost friend of theirs. Our stay at Embassy Suites was so wonderful! We went as a large group, 14 people! Rooms & beds were very comfortable! Breakfast in the morning was delicious, made to order omelets! And the evenings after long walks in Manhattan, the complimentary drink with snacks was perfect!! A shout out to all the team, everyone from Housekeeping to Bartenders were so accommodating & friendly! I cant say enough of the whole team! Lina was so helpful in the morning breakfast rush! And sorry I forgot name of man making omelets, but wow, slammed with orders, but still friendly & so fast!!
