Embassy Suites by Hilton Lubbock

Seldomly do I ever write a review while still present at an establishment. But this one takes the cake by far. Never been to this side of Texas before so I relied on hotel brand reputation despite having a real sour taste at another location at New Braunfels that made me shy away from anything Hilton for over a year. But a recent great experience at Olathe KS had made me return back to Hilton family again. Made my reservation not based on the previous reviews from other visitors but based on brand. Yes, the hotel is rustic and full of character. It actually takes you to another world away from other hotels. The efforts keeping up this place is far beyond magnificent. The room configuration is great for families. Very spacious. The staff was all super nice. The evening reception was great. Limited food options, but cold beer and margaritas. The made to order eggs at the breakfast buffet was awesome. It is an older hotel, nothing fancy, one of the dryers in the laundry room was not working, but we had a great time. If you like to sleep in, do not stay in room 126, as it is right by the kitchen and is loud in the mornings.

We always choose to stay here because it’s such an amazing property with outstanding service. This visit was no different. We booked again for the excellent amenities, beautiful rooms, and welcoming staff. There were a few issues overnight, but the manager went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled quickly and professionally. I especially want to thank Michael for being so attentive and for always taking great care of us. His kindness and dedication truly make a difference. We look forward to staying here again!

Horrible staff the place was ok still not renovated enough . I asked for a renovated room 2 months ago. I was not given the room I request. I also had two rooms only one of the rooms was ready on time and the other I had wait for 2 1/2 hours because they said they were so book d the night before they didn't have time to clean both rooms only one. So I didn't get to get ready until 6 pm my event started at 7. I was told they would call me when the other room was ready. I never got a call. I had to finally go to the front desk where I was told it still wasnt ready. I let them know I had been waiting almost 3 hours and then she checked and it was ready they just never called me or made me a priority at all. I really needed to get into that room too set up for a special event and was not a
