Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina

Positive: The staff was very friendly. Negative: I asked for a entry level/ no stair room. That is not what we got.It was difficult entering in the room because of the "lip" at the entrance and exit to the room. Hard to get out of the pool as well.It was extremely expensive for what we got

Location is perfect if you want to enjoy a fabulous view of Yaquina Bay. My room was on the 3rd floor which provided a panoramic view of the bay and Marina - just what I wanted. The bed was a bit soft but comfortable. Several excellent restaurants within walking distance along the bay front or a very short drive. 10 min drive to Nye Beach for lovely beach walks or the Oregon Coast Aquarium which is a must see. Downside was WiFi was mostly non existent for watching evening movies on a tablet—TV was very old with poor quality.

The rooms are all different, so you are never sure what to expect. 252 was up a very steap set of wet stairs on the end, great views of the bay and a palm & pinapple theme throughout. It had a jetted tub, wish it had a grab bar. Fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable living area. No fireplace/wood stove. Staff was very kind. If accessibility is a issue, they told us we could just call after reserving online and request a room without stairs. Overall, totally plan on staying again, made some great memories!

Best stay we had our entire trip, both times we’ve been out here. Just wow. The view was wicked cool, the rooms were really unique, and cozy. I wish I could remember the gentleman’s name who checked us in.. but I believe he was a manager. He was WONDERFUL. Everything was just fantastic. I won’t stay anywhere else the next time we visit Newport!

I’ve been staying at this hotel for over 10 years, and my experience gets better every time. If you’re checking in, I highly recommend seeing Jesse he’s absolutely amazing. He knows how to talk to guests, makes you feel right at home, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay. He’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back. I don’t mind paying a premium for service this good. Next year, I’ll be returning again for my wife’s birthday, and we plan to stay even longer so we can enjoy more of what the hotel has to offer. And don’t forget the crabbing dock it’s always a fun highlight of our trip! Thank you again, Jesse, for your outstanding customer service and for making our stay truly memorable.
