Elk Run RV Park

EDIT: you don’t even check the kw meter or nothing, please stop the excuses, solar is on the rood of my camper. You need the money more than i do, i’m just giving heads up to potential guests. Very sketchy way to charge the rent, they ask for $100 electricity deposit + $500/month rent, when i got there i asked the guy there if that deposit will go back and he said yes as long as i didn’t over use the electricity, i didn’t care bc my rig runs 95% of the time on solar, was there for 2 weeks and got sent to other state to work, when i spoke to the guy at the office to do the check out i asked if i was getting the electric deposit back (i know i can’t get any of the rent money back) and he just said that electricity bills have been up lately that i can’t get it back, lmfao so i have to cover

I have been staying at Elk Run park for over a year now, Mrs D and the maintenance Fred are outstanding, very attentive to any need you have, spaces are large and you are close to wal mart and downtown stores and restaurants, I definitely recommend, if you are in the oil field business or just a passer by, this is the place! Restrooms and shower rooms as well as laundry on site!

We were in dire straits because our tow vehicle was having problems and we needed a place to stay. The folks here at this campground went out of their way to create a spot for us to park while our vehicle was being worked on. They are super friendly and over-the-top accommodating. It is a nice quiet place to reset and we will be stopping in again on our next trip to the west coast.

One of the best RV parks I've stayed at! Lots of room, plenty of greenery, and the owner really goes above and beyond. It’s in a perfect spot—nice and quiet, but just minutes from town.

Owner (Deneen) is the definition of accommodating and hospitable. Bathrooms and showers are super clean. Plenty of washers and dryers available. Great location with immediate access to Historic Rt. 66, I-40, and state highway 34. I highly recommend this park to anyone who is looking for an easy in-and-out or a long-term stay.
