We had a BLAST at Kozy Kamp! The canoe voyage down Elk River was a incredible, EPIC adventure and I loved our campsite! We opted for the “First Come, First Serve” campground area and the views and being right along the highway did not disappoint! There was never a dull moment! Lots of good fishing and my son caught a decent amount of fish and he was so happy! The Kozy Kamp Team was very accommodating in helping us get the perfect campsite for our stay on the Elk River! I had sooo much fun vibing on the river with everyone and swimming! The water is clear and you can watch the fish swim past you! Until next time, Kozy Kamp! Thank you for the unforgettable great adventure!!!!!

This place has went to he'll. You pay the exact same price to have an rv set up on the property as you pay for someone in a tent. Westayedin the cabins knowing they were basic. They had holes in the building. They had to switch us cabins after they found a broken water line. Then we get switched to another cabin that had no hot water, and their fix for that was too shut off the cold water. The staff were friendly. We only stayed one night after having to book for two nights because of their weekend policy. When we asked the day before they said kayaks and rafts only on river. Said kayaks weren't allowed on river. Made 2 people have to pay 160 dollars for a 6 mile float trip. Every other camp let canoes and kayaks down the river. This place is a joke and is only out for the money. We will n

Some nuance is required for giving a proper rating to Kozy Kamp. I've been going for a number of years and have for the most part enjoyed my experience. I do however have several complaints that are worth noting to anyone that are considering using their campgrounds and float service. First, they have an absolutely no money back returns policy. If you are unable to, or by act of God/nature are unable to to make your reservations the best that you can hope for is a non-refundable voucher for similar services later in the same season. SAME season. If you are unable to make it back up into missouri, you are simply out money. Due to severe flooding, my group was unable to float, and many of us were unable to even make use of our camp services. This year, due to significant rainfall I w

Please consider liking this review to help increase visibility and protect others. I am an heavy contributing google guide with thousands of contributions worldwide, and I rarely leave negative reviews. This situation was serious enough that I believe others should be aware. My family had a deeply distressing experience at this property. We arrived early on a Friday with our young children. We were hoping for a quiet and relaxed stay. The cabins were priced as if they were proper lodging, but they were lightly built structures with very little protection from the weather. The air conditioning could not cool the space. There was also a serious wasp issue that made it unsafe for our children to be inside. When we requested assistance, we expected basic help or at least a respectful convers

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Taking a bus to start our journey down the river was about 10 min . We received our raft and life vests and away we went. The river was calm and clear for the most part. Water was not deep and you can see the bottom for most of the ride. You are required to row due to the river being very calm. It was a work out but we had a great time. We stopped half way to have a bite to eat and as fellow floaters went by everyone was very friendly. As we were finishing our 5 mile float , we were back where we first got on the bus . All the campers were out in the water and welcomed us in. Had a great time and plan on returning.
