Ables Sugar Island Camp

Quiet, clean, relaxing place to spend the day or to camp overnight. Staff was friendly and helpful. Family had fun camping there. Prices for camping, and also for float trips, are reasonable. Only downfall was no restroom or shower facility. Have a port-a-let but no actual restrooms. This was okay for us this trip because we only stayed 1 night, and would be okay for someone with a camper or RV. We're looking forward to going back soon.

Love coming here every summer! Good prices and were very kind and flexible recently when we showed up a little later in the day to kayak. River is clean and staff is great!

Creepy creepy creepy. Planned on staying two nights but got out as quick as we could. Had a bad feeling immediately upon arrival.

Went to visit a friend who camping there. Prices are good. But they dont keep the beach clear of people camping on it. Wall to wall tents. No way to get to the water. Friend is very upset and disappointed. Im very disappointed and upset. How can anyone enjoy the river when you cant access it. Only reason two stars is the one star for price
