Eleven Mile State Park Office

Heck of a drive - last 10 miles are dirt road at 10mph. But when you arrive you forget about that and are amazed with the lake and campground. We stayed in Loop A, close to building with bathrooms and showers (25 cents per minute charge). They are clean. Our site 8 was not level, but looking at other sites none of them are. We had beautiful boulder as our back and views of trees an lake to the sides. Nearby is marina.

Stayed at Rocky Ridge Campground, which has boulders and trees. The other campgrounds here do not but, many of those other campgrounds have boat moorings and lake access for fishing. No swimming in reservoir, great for fishing. Coyote ridge is the only hiking trail area in the park. Very beautiful area. The dump station doesn't have water fyi.

Great stay at Eleven Mile State Park. Beautiful views from the campground and spacious sites. It gets windy starting mid day so be careful on the water as the wind comes in quickly. The paddling was so great with lots of rocks and coves to explore. Excellent trails as well.

please note that 90 & 92 are dirt roads and it is several miles off highway 24 to get to the park. the visitor center is paved and part of the parking is paved. highly recommend to get there early for good parking. there's a hiking trail before the visitor center and lots of fishing areas.

Fantastic campground with great fishing all around lake George. No water access after the month of October through March so make sure you fill up before coming. Friendly staff as well as rangers in the area. Beautiful views and scenery all around! Overall a great place for a vacation. Has a local general store a mile away as well as a marina to be able to rent boats or pick up the gear that's needed!
