El Castell Motel

Let me start off by saying THIS HOTEL IS THE BEST HOTEL FOR THAT PRICE YOU ARE PAYING. I had family trip this weekend staying at this hotel I’ve rented this hotel few years back they upgraded forsure. I don’t why it’s 2 star hotel if the rooms are 5 star and beds are comfortable pillows are great rented the family 3 beds 2 rooms in 1 room grate for the kids pool was great. On the down side I recommend having a worker there 24/7 and not a Person on the screen I was there getting spoons and guy didn’t speak English and the guy on the screen couldn’t help him at that point and walked off. Coffee was great the workers outside were great. They didn’t charge me deposit nor didn’t I have to check in or check out they gave me door number and door code to enter room. We had a great stay at El Castell Motel. This motel was such a great find! Great price and great location. It is a little bit noisy but the rooms were large and clean and the front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Would stay again!

El Castel is great friendly clean. Alex in the office was my virtual kiosk savior to complete my registration allow me to keep same room as I extended my stay another night. Courteous and very helpful. I've stayed here many times over past couple of years. Prices are reasonable and the only thing I will say is it was a warm day in the peninsula and at 730 p m, ice machine had no ice and had to shop nearby for liquid hydration as their soda machine took my $2.00 but wouldn't release the soda or return $2.09. As with most business that soda companies contract with to have their machines conveniently placed at locations like stores or hotels, that hotel doesn't handle machine failures. Haven't investigated on procedure to get my $2.00 back because El Castel doesn't service or handle issues wh

Positive: Staff was friendly. Negative: The room we got was questionable at best. First floor, no smoke detectors, the sprinkler heads were covered. We found previous renters' garbage. It appeared the room was maybe and office or a work suite. Also very, very loud.

El Castell is such a great place to stay. Not only budget friendly but very clean rooms, the staff is wonderful and always helpful. You can text to let them know whatever you need, extra towels, cleaning, coffee refills if needed . Whatever you need they text back quickly and are on top of it. I didn’t go to the pool but other reviews have said it’s a nice experience . They are in a convenient location and easy to get around. I actually extended my stay and would definitely come back! Excellent!
