Econo Lodge Spring Lake near Fort Bragg

The floors were not clean. The sheets had holes. They had at least 6 stinkbugs. I stayed two separate nights in two separate rooms. One of those rooms didn't have a desk chair. The other didn't have a televisno remote.

My credit card got hacked. The two sites were Super.com and Total *Wireless. I have filed a fraud complaint and while not certain the Econolodge or employees were involved, the timing suggests likely. Three transactions were declined as I blocked and locked my card. They were to : 1) Golden Corral 2) Dominos Pizza 3) A DoorDash delivery I seldom if ever file a negative review, but this experience affected me very negatively. Again, the two falsely charged items involved were: 1 Super.com over $77.00 2 Touch*Wireless $123.00 for total $200.00

Absolutely 100% worst hotel I've ever stayed in couldn't sleep because of bed bugs!!!!! 1st room was supposed to be smoke free but the bathroom smelt like a fresh blunt the second room is just as bad roaches everywhere and said all they.could do is apologize but no refund Do not stay here my back is covered in bites from the bugs

I was treated with the upmost respect from the time I checked in, which made me really feel welcomed. Anything as far as then, or pillows the staff was right on it. The two ladies working morning shift definitely get five stars from me and gentlemen that on the housekeeping staff also gets five stars!

I accidentally booked a room here via hotels.com. Upon booking I immediately realized my mistake and contacted hotels.com. Because the rate I mistakenly booked was non refundable they said they would need to contact Econo lodge for a refund directly. They tried but Econolodge would not provide a refund, even with the immediate cancellation and me not staying there. I know it was my mistake, obviously, but would have appreciated more understanding.
