Econo Lodge Painted Post - Corning

Because they made me feel like family. I asked to see a room before booking and there was No problem. The rooms are very clean and the staff works very hard. There are several awards posted behind the counter. There was an unfortunate situation in the room next to mine one of the days and the staff handled the situation with great care, while thinking of other guests as well. Location is convenient but very quiet. The hotel stands next to major roadways but all alone.

It’s not what you expect from this line of hotels but it suited just fine. This location was 20mins from where we needed to be the next day. Prices are good. Had a king size bed, it was comfortable- nothing lavish, TV had channels without having to stream, or download anything, fridge, water pressure for the shower was good, noise level were great even in the morning. Although the walls in between wasn’t so sound proof. We heard our neighbor snoring very loud. Free breakfast in the morning, we didn’t eat there but it sure smelled good. Service at the front desk is very nice and efficient. Other than the name and esthetic of hotels, it’s very good.

Very nice people, and actual breakfast served in the morning with waffles, yogurt, juice, etc. Also, a very nice curry tree and some other fun plants in the lobby. I tend to think that people who bother to care about plants at a franchise will generally have a nicer place and that definitely bears up at this place. They also have rooms with 2 queens instead of fulls, which is a big deal if you're traveling with tall/big people. The rooms and hallways and such were all clean. There's also plenty of parking, so it'd be hard to complain.

I visited here with my dad 9/15- 9/17/25. We came here to play golf. The staff was friendly, the room was nice, as was the breakfast. The only complaint was trying to find it. They could use a bigger sign; otherwise, we had a great stay, would come back

This EconoLodge was very clean and the staff is nice and accommodating. I didn't appreciate the fact that there was no elevator (checked in at 6 PM and they didn't have a first-floor room available), mattress was rock hard, pillows were very thin, the outside lighting shined in my window all night, and I could hear people coming and going all night. I will not stay here again unless they upgrade the mattress, and pillows and I am guaranteed a first-floor room.
