Econo Lodge Oxford near Choccolocco Park

Cute and clean little getaway. Very good for the price. Staff is nice. The rooms are pest-free thank God! I will go there again if I need a clean safe place to stay again.

Everything was very clean, staff was very pleasant. Things were kept up fairly well. There were small things that were "covered" over to make them look better. they were small things that did not affect the cleanliness or looks of the room. You sort of had to look for them. Also, everything was in working order - a bit plus after some of the places we have stayed in. We would definitely come back here if we are in the area again. thanks for a great stay.

We arrived at 2 am and spent the night. We woke up and left the hotel. A couple days later we was charged for a large rip in the sofa that we clearly didn't do. They missed it from previous guest and passed it onto us . Tried to explain to them and they had no thoughts of understanding or logic thinking. So be careful if you stay there they must be needing more money and you will be chosen to give it to them if you don't photo and time stamp every thing that's wrong with the room . Trust me there is lots to document about the condition of the rooms. Good luck and wise safe travels.

The evening clerk on Saturday was kind of rude after I told her that my room key would not work. She did fix it for us, but seemed like she was bothered when we were the ones who could not get back into our room. On Sunday morning, the clerk was amazing and had the best personality when we checked out. The room and the breakfast was nice .

Ok. A budget hotel, 4 stars? Yes. It was clean. Throughout the facility. Budget price was worth it. We’re traveling with our 13 yr old poodle. Not paying the Marriott price for a dog. She may be family but get real, she doesn’t need luxury. Budget works. The Econo Lodge team works hard maintaining the facility. Though it’s showing age and has that smell, I can overlook that with cleanliness. I’ll stay there again.
