Econo Lodge Lake City-North

Its a bit of several quick turns to get into the Lodge. I arrived at night and would have liked a bit more light in the parking area. The room was clean but had inch to one and 1/2 "step" to get into the sink and closet are. A great toe smasher in the dark on the way to the toilet. People we friendly and took care in their work.

After hurricane Helene my home was destroyed the staff at this hotel went above and beyond to accommodate myself as well as my pets. not only did I feel at home so did my pets and the staff treated them great as well.|No price gauging and alerted guests to FEMA assistance. |Clean rooms friendly staff beautiful pool. |The manager Ms. Reni is absolutely wonderful she is a hands on manager and that is a rare find. |In general I would recommend a stay here.|Overall I would stay here again for sure. | Thank You to the Hotel staff sincerely appreciate you.

I have been staying in this Lodge for years. On family vacations and other business. Over the years i have completed these surveys and nothing happens but the same automated response. But this time, we were met with roaches, things crawling, the outlets not working, rhe clovks in the rooms not working. The heaters not up to par for the cold weather, stains on the linen. A complete nightmare! This was absolutely my last stay.

The check in process was smooth and easy. I booked this hotel for an overnight before returning to home the next day. I have been in Pensacola for the end of the week and heading back to South Carolina. Going off the reviews this hotel doesn't seem that bad for the price. I have noticed some negative reviews on the cleanliness and bug issues. But upon coming into my room it was clean and bug free. That makes me happy. I stay in a lot of hotels with Choice Hotels for my job, so cleanliness + bugs are always on my mind. That being said, any hotel can have a bug problem its not just the economy hotels. This hotel is nice and affordable for the area, plenty of restaurants in the area. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Lake City FL, also I would recommend it to others.

Room was as to be expected for the price and age of building. Lady at check in was very nice. When getting to the room, I was a bit shocked. It had a conjoined room and the dead bolt on our side didn't have a hole to lock it. The otherside door didn't even have a knob. Im assuming that room wasn't being used, but as a female I felt very unsafe. There was also a lot of holes in the wall. Looked like things used to hang there with a nail. Again with the unsafe feeling. Who know if there cameras with thay quality.
