Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Macon West

Although the front desk employee was very kind to accomodate my room request, and the room itself (although outdated) was clean and comfortable, the entire facility was very run down with trash and workers boots and equipment laying around everywhere. The smell of cigarette smoke and trash throughout the stairwell was intense, and everything was very run down. I didn't even dare to try the breakfast the next morning. It is possible that those workers were there for renovations of the hotel itself but until that is completed, I'll not be returning to this hotel nor recommending it to my coworkers. Let me know when it is complete (if it is) and I'll be happy to give it another try - just for the sake of the employees who were very nice.

Positive: The woman at the desk when we checked in was the best part of the hotel Negative: Mildew spots on walls. Ceiling damage in shower. Small hole in ceiling above shower.Free breakfast there is a joke. Coffee maker with plastic cups. Canisters of cereal but didn’t see bowls or milk. 3 bananas available that were browning.

Stayed one night. The room was dirty baseboards falling off, all kinds of nasty on bathroom wall. No way would I shower there. The sign says newly renovated I do not know what century it was done! Arrived late after driving. Breakfast was 6-9 do not go at 8:15 because they say it started at 6!! Not that I would have ate there I walked in to ck out!!! First and last stay at econo!! Smoke detectors next door going off all night.

Well priced for a budget overnight sleep, but not as advertised. While I didn't expect a sumptuous breakfast buffet, I did expect sugar/sweetener for the coffee, along with creamer. It would have been nice to have some butter/syrup for the waffles. Milk for the cereal would be handy. So, the breakfast bar was black coffee, plain waffles, and dry cereal. The cereal was a handful of Fruit Loops. That was the entire offerings for breakfast. I came to breakfast at 6:30 and was one of the first persons. So, the lack of breakfast inventory was not because there had been a customer run. There just was a lack of supplies. While I dont expect Rhode's Scholars for employees, perhaps they shouldn't be sitting on the side steps smoking weed. And while I expected the room would be dated, but clean (

Great value for a budget hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly, and the check-in process was quick and easy. Would stay here again without hesitation.
