Econo Lodge Fredericksburg

I was able to check in over the phone since we would be arriving after the office closed. That was very helpful and kept my stress level low. The room was extra clean. The only complaint that I have is that "breakfast" should have been called "packaged snacks and juice".

Great place to stay. It’s clean, quiet and very reasonable. Management was awesome! She went far and beyond to accommodate me! I am handicap and she assisted me without hesitation. She was very professional, polite and pleasant! This Hotel is so lucky to have a wonderful staff member/manager like her!

Total nightmare. I made a one-night reservation through Expedia for a stay in Fredericksburg, Texas at the Econo Lodge. Upon arrival, I was told my reservation was for the following day, which I am confident was not how I booked it. The hotel stated they could change the reservation only if I paid an additional $54, effectively doubling the original price. I contacted Expedia for help, but was told Econo Lodge policies did not allow them to make any corrections. The Econo Lodge showed no flexibility whatsoever, and Expedia provided no meaningful assistance. I refused to pay twice the agreed-upon rate. This experience was frustrating and unacceptable, especially for a loyal customer. Better customer service and accountability are expected from both the hotel and the booking platform.

We have been staying here for the past 15 yeard when we come to FB. I will not stay anywhere else. I am in my room right now celebrating my wife's and my wedding anniversary. My.meal cost more than our room. In fact I could stay here for 2 night for our meal cost. Welove this motel they know how to treat you right. Lee Weathersbee. Del Rio Texas

The rooms are very clean and honestly the cleanest affordable hotel you can get especially for the area. However, if you have a service animal they will still charge you for them as a pet (which is illegal by the way). This was very frustrating for my partner and I, we tried to explain to the front desk that our dog is a service animal but she did not seem to understand and instead charged our card on a file a pet fee. Thankfully the bank gave us our money back, but be warned. Pet friendly? Yes. Service Animal friendly? Not so much
