Econo Lodge Buffalo South

Booked this hotel for a Bills game, visiting from Philly. Location was great, BJ's gas literally in the parking lot and 5 mins from the stadium. First time ever in a motel style accommodation. Was a little weary at first, but check in was fast, room looked better inside than expected from the outside and it worked well for us. We were happily surprised by the linens and the comfort of the bed. The free breakfast is good for snacks and the staff was very friendly. I see other reviews talk about the cleanliness of the floor, but I only wear shoes in any hotel anyway, so I can't comment.

There was too little lighting in parking lot, the location was rather secluded, so felt a bit unsafe. The door frame was loose and needed repair. No soap in room so had to return to front desk to ask for some. However, we appreciated that the linens all appeared to be clean, and the bed was comfortable.

I researched rooms for a Bills game for over five hours, I wanted clean, cheap and close to the stadium. After reading reviews I landed here and hoped for the best. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room excluding the floor. Bathroom clean and sheets clean. The floor appeared clean but my feet were black with dirt from not wearing shoes, definitely needed a good mop. I was disappointed I couldn't turn the air fan up it was locked in on auto but still the room was comfortable, beds comfortable, staff friendly, you can park directly in front of your room, 5 min from stadium, will absolutely stay again and maybe bring a mop

Positive: "" Negative: The A/C was set for 51* my room was like ice. I couldn’t ask for a different room because I had the last room with my reservation. All the staff did was right down of note of how cold it was.

Came in for a Bills game, room was a bit dated, and had very loud and unruly neighbors, informed management and the switched my room promptly with no issues. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and had no other problems. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
