Econo Lodge Brunswick Travel Center

This was the cleanest and best Econo Lodge we've stayed at. The receptionist was really nice and checked us in to the last room they had available. Upon checking out, the guy running the front was very friendly and smiled. 😀 The room was very clean and I will stay here again. Thank you staff.

While I lying in bed watching TV, my wife had fallen asleep, she woke up coughing and had problems breathing. She asked me what was burning. I told her nothing that I had opened the windows and it was probably coming from outside. I went to the windows and checked. The ac was on medium and clicking. I put ac on high, shut the windows and laid back down. About 10 minutes later she woke up with the same thing. I went to ac to check and it had went to medium and was clicking. I shut it off. My wife had to leave the room for air and stayed out for a while. I went to front desk and told them. They smelled it also and stated they unplugged their ac because they thought it was theirs. It started with what was supposed to be 2 night stay. Turned into a 6 nighter due to change of work in area. during a very cold week. Room was clean and good and warm without being stuffy. Would definitely stay again and have already told a couple of friends it is a good place to stay. Very clean

For the price ($79 per night plus taxes), this was a very nice place. Clean and quiet. Simple amenities. Staff exceptionally nice. Will definitely return on our trips to Florida. Only complaint is an additional $25 charge for a pet. A little excessive in my opinion as most other places are $10-$15.

I would like to start by saying I have stayed at this hotel twice a year for almost 5 years and it usually is a great place to stay. This time however, it smells like raw sewage all the way through the hotel it is absolutely nauseating and nothing we do helps. It would have been nice for someone to let us know about the situation before arriving in order to have made other accomodations. @econolodge check room 110 under Sarai Mackenzie from 01/01-01/02. There are not many people with my first name, I'm sure you can find it. Instead of addressing the issue you accuse me of not staying....that is very disappointing.
