Duval Inn

Positive: Hotel staff was very friendly. Nice garden area and pool. AC worked great. Breakfast provided, bicycle rental for $10 each per day. Rooms included convenient dispensers with hand soap, lotion as well as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Negative: ""

I never got the opportunity to make it to my reservation…I needed to change my reservation 2 days less than the booking policy (12 days out instead of 14). I was not looking to cancel, just adjust vacation dates and called to see if that was possible with the understanding that it may not be- however, I was told by desk staff that they had availability for my new dates and that if I reached out to the owners via email, it was possible. No reply by the owners and every time I called to inquire, I received the same response from desk staff- send a new email. Several no replies later, my last communication with desk staff was “well, the no reply was your answer pretty much deal with it- oh and by the way, we are now booked up for your dates” I am not upset regarding the inability to adjust my

Pros: location. A block from central Duval St. The breakfast buffet is adequate. The bathroom is spacious and appears to be be recently renovated. Parking is included and only a block away|Cons: on arrival, ( mid day) office was locked and we had to wait for someone to show up to check in. |We were given room on first floor, by the Inns front door. |None of the exterior windows could be locked and needed repair. Very in secure. We had to get maintenance to screw one of the windows shut. The overhead light did not work. The bathroom fan did not work. When we went to check out, there was no one in the office/ buffet area to give our keys to and check out . Other guests were looking for office personnel as well with no luck. We finally found a cleaning lady and gave her our keys. Very unp

The closet sliding door was broken. The lights keep coming off. No smoking anywhere on property and parking. Breakfast is terrible nowhere to eat in a tiny cubicle office. The front desk lady is not accommodating whats so ever. Beware if you pay online expect to pay more when you arrive asking for a 350 dollar deposit on top of the 4k. Dont pay online because no refunds whats so ever no excuses.

Very close to all of the excitement of Old Towne Duval Street. A very romantic and quiet place to stay. The Orchid Room was perfect and the cost was very affordable. We look forward to returning again soon. The entire staff, including the owner, Pinky were great to interact with.
