Duryea's Sunset Cottages

Had a phenomenal stay here this summer! There is truly no other experience like this in all of the Hamptons -- high-touch service and beautiful & well-made accommodations (with every detail you can imagine). It has a feeling of the privacy & exclusivity of your own Hamptons home, with the service & amenities of a 5-star hotel. Loved the included mini-bar, access to a reservation at Duryea's restaurant (which otherwise is not possible as it is walk-in only and often a long wait), the oceanfront coffee views, the breakfast picnic basket, and also the location (with the best sunsets!) Cannot wait to return!

Our long weekend at Duryea’s Sunset Cottages was beyond expectations! The cottages are beautifully decorated , comfortable, and perfectly located for gorgeous sunsets. We loved exploring the area on the e-bikes, which made the experience even more fun. Jessica, the property manager, was amazing—so warm, helpful, and attentive, which made our stay seamless and extra special….can’t wait to return!

As a child that grew up spending summers in Montauk in the 80s I was skeptical of the price point of this property, and gosh did they show us exceptional value. The location is stunning with sunset views you dream of out east, the service impeccable, the breakfast DELICIOUS, your personal hot tub spotless and divine, excellent paddle boarding right in front of the cottage, and a fully stocked activities chest in your cottage from top quality swimming gear, beach chairs, to gorgeous e-bikes, and there are so many inclusions like the gourmet stocked fridge and freezer, excellent and plentiful toiletries... and each day there were delicious fresh bites... like the welcome lobster roll platter, the very bougie vegetable platter and the nightly desserts that were even made gluten free for me. W

We just got back from an amazing long weekend at the cottages. The rooms are brand new and the design and comfort are top notch. The cottages are very well named as the sunset views are unbeatable in Montauk. The staff are exceptional, especially Jessica, who had excellent suggestions on what to do and where to go! We are already looking forward to our next stay. There are four cottages, Dune (where we stayed) is the closest to the waterfront, followed by Bluff, both of which have water views from their decks. Then there are two more situated farther back, one of which (Sunset) has its' own rooftop deck. Access is provided to e-bikes, beach chairs and towels, stand up paddle boards and more. The bed was super comfortable and the rooms are equipped with built in multi-speaker Sonos

Duryea’s Sunset Cottages just raised the bar so high I challenge anyone to tell me about a more attentive, luxurious, kind, grateful , superior design & technology but more importantly the care the staff unconditionally offers ! Jessica & Joelle are the A team in Guest relations - Juliet and Hugo will make sure you not only get the best seat at the restaurant ( oh don’t miss that while staying ) but feed You and treat You as family !
