Dunes Inn Michigan City Hotel

I had a terrible experience during my stay at the Dunes Inn in Michigan City. The room I was given was very dirty, and the noise level was unbearable—people were yelling and screaming in the room next door throughout the night. There was also a strong smell in the hallway that made me extremely uncomfortable, and the place overall felt unsafe. I even encountered what appeared to be bed bugs, which was the final straw and forced me to leave.||The hotel seems to be poorly managed, and the environment felt chaotic and unsettling. I would not recommend staying here.

I used to stay here a couple yrs ago and I thought the rooms were decent compared to others in the area. And Herschell was managing the motel then and I enjoyed my stay. He was an excellent manager. He was fair and easy to get along with. But now ever since they replaced him with Kevin I refuse to stay there. He tries to control your every move. He tells you that your not allowed to have any Visitors and he enters your room without letting you know before he needs in there. Kevin is Rude and very Disrespectful!!!

Extremely helpful and a complimentary distance from my job. I'm grateful overall.

Roaches , roaches and even more roaches check the room out before renting you will see for your self the knights in across the way is the same price and way nicer please save your self the disgust of going here they didn't care st all and said they just sprayed it was impossible there were dead and live roaches everywhere I honestly do not know how they are open. But like I said check the room before entering you will see them right away we also found used needles in our room and called the police because the people at the front desk could care less

This place is TERRIBLE. Hand prints and fist indentions all over the place. FILTHY. burn holes in everything. Pot ashes everywhere. Bathtub was disgusting. Ceiling falling in, curtain ripped half off. Has been some MAJOR things go down in these rooms from the looks of it. STAY AWAY.
