Nice campground! We just stayed overnight in a pull-through site so did not experience the amenities except the bark park (small but ample size to let dogs stretch their legs and burn off some energy). Well kept park and nicely decorated for Halloween. Folks were friendly and helpful (even called us as we were leaving to inform us that we left our door awning open!)

Michigan City Campground was our 183rd stop, and we stayed for four nights. Conveniently located just off Highway 421, south of town, it's a quick 15-minute drive to Indiana Dunes National Park (Mount Baldy). The campground has two distinct sections. The older, shadier back section hosts the office, laundry, and heated pool, and is home to more seasonal campers, making up about half of the total sites. We stayed in the front section, which, while unshaded and closer to the highway, offered long, wide sites. Some of these sites featured good-sized concrete patios or crushed gravel with embedded fire pits. We found the road noise to be minimal and it dissipated overnight. The office is updated and well-stocked. We had a positive experience with the staff, finding them very pleasant and profe

Staying here started off as a last minute thing as we're driving through and made no arrangements for overnight lodging. We are primarily over landing and utilizing dispersed camping zones, going to campgrounds and sites as needed along the way! After stopping in Indiana Dunes National Park for the night, we realized we were not going to be so lucky. We were able to secure the last camp spot for the night. With our rooftop tent, staying here was no problem! There was water hookups and electricity if desired, although we didn't use them. The shower/Bathroom situation is actually fairly nice for a campground! The water pressure was great, and the hot water was amazing. I do recommend this place, however, few things to know: the campground space is tight. You will be pretty close to people

This is a great little campground with easy access from I-80/I-90 (Indiana Toll Road) and I-94. Not far from the Indiana Dunes either. The property is well maintained and clean and the staff is friendly. They keep up with their landscaping which adds a nice touch. Every guest gets an access card for the gate so not just anyone can drive in. We stayed in site 43 in our 30 foot travel trailer with easy access to the camp store and pool. The site was level so we didn't need to hassle with levelers. The camp store is nice and the pool is clean, good sized, and appears to be heated which is a nice addition. Utility service was great and it appears every pedestal has an independent ground which is important for safety. Best sewer hookup I've ever had. The only complaint I heard about t

Cabin was very pretty. Staff was not very kind when we had to go ask for toilet paper and trash bags because there was none in the cabin. They said “ it should have been in there”. And it wasn’t…plus someone left the toilet a mess before our arrival so clearly it wasn’t cleaned before we came. No big deal. We stayed and enjoyed the cabin. Most of the guests there live there so it was boring for a 4th of July. No planned activities for kids. Pool closes at 8. So not much to do. I’m giving one star because 2 days after we got home we got charged 125$ cleaning fee because we forgot a pan of taco meat in the microwave. Which was an honest mistake. The rest of the cabin had been cleaned and all the dishes done. It truly was a mistake when packing up 3 kids out the door. & I understand frustrat
