Driftwood Motel

Very clean for an older, established motel from the 90s... the building is older than that. The beds were comfortable and the pillows just right. A good hot shower with good pressure. Quiet, no frills room for the night. I slept good. 72.00 for the night. Coffee in the morning was cold...

If I could give less stars I would. It’s a very cheap hotel but it was awful. The ac made a very loud noise and we couldn’t sleep. They only give you ONE towel and ONE washcloth. They give you one bar of soap and a small plastic tear open package of what is supposed to be a shampoo/conditioner combo. I burned the crap out of my hands and mouth when I went to brush my teeth because the hot and cold are marked wrong and on the wrong sides of the faucet (the left side was cold when supposed to be hot and vice versa). There is ONE garbage can in the whole room. There are no blankets on the bed. That’s right, there is a sheet and then a canvas material thing decorative topper that is not a blanket. This place is ran terribly. So terribly. They will accuse you of any damage to your room even when they checked it out while we were standing there watching. We were told that we would get our deposits back....got one payment of $50 then they charged us for a towel, took $10 off the second deposit, supposed to be getting back $90 total. They will cancel your payment as soon as you walk out the door. These people as scams and should not be running a business like that. It doesn't help the fact that the lady at this hotel is tied in with the baymont and also scamming people. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Positive: Nothing Negative: Room dirty, roaches on the bed, shower had hair, dirty wash clothe under the bed.

The first room I was in had bugs in it and then my second room had stained towels and dog hair all over the beds and dog food on the floor
