Driftwood Beach Club

This is a lovely small resort with a pool, hot tub and private beach access directly across the street. The personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. There was entertainment by the pool one evening with appetizers. Very close walking distance to numerous great restaurants, some shops and the water taxi on the intercoastal waterway. We loved this trip!

I’ve been coming here for 30 years. It’s incredibly family-friendly, with a fantastic atmosphere, a perfect location, and outstanding management that goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

The units are a good size, well-stocked and with comfortable beds and seating. Screens are situated in both bedrooms and living areas. The resort has a unique area to access the beach with shuffleboard, tiki huts and lots of lounge chairs for the beach. The pool is nicely heated and pleasant to stay in for extended periods and has plenty of seating all around. Shopping is within easy walking distance and restaurants and boutique stores are just steps away which is great for eating, drinking and listening to live music, but it can be a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. It's also a bit noisy early in the morning as service trucks take care of local maintenance.

We have previously stayed at Driftwood and decided to return with our young children this time. The resort has a very laidback, relaxing feel. Our kids loved being able to walk right outside their room and sit at a table to eat breakfast and lunch and then jump right into the pool. If you are looking for a lot of hotel planned activities, this is not the place. You go here to relax and enjoy the small town feel. We love that we can walk less than a block and be at all the restaurants, ice cream shops and so much more! You cross the street and you are at the private beach. The hotel provides chairs and lounges that you can borrow and setup on the beach. I highly recommend the Driftwood.

Driftwood was a great place to stay, not too big, but had everything we needed. The units have a high end finish and very clean. The location is super with the beach over the road and lots of shops and restaurant very close by. The staff are lovely and really take pride in keeping the resort looking so good. We hope to visit again.
