La Mer Suites

Bill was a great host we booked on hotels.com but I think you can Airbnb or whatever as well. He made sure we had everything we needed, and even made some adjustments to the schedule because we wanted to extend our stay but our current room was not available for the extra 2 days. The room had plenty of space for the four of us and even had plenty of beach stuff available like chairs, so I beach toys, umbrellas and beach towels. There is a nice washer and dryer on site for clothes. The courtyard of the hotel was very quiet and nice to sit and relax in. The location was perfect with easy access to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to grocery and downtown Lauderdale by the sea with all the restaurants and shops.

The space was generous. The kitchen fully functional. The bed was comfortable. The location was ideal. Walk across the street to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas furnished with the room. Walk to the town where a variety of bars and restaurants are located. Check in is by 6pm. Off hours, the office is available if you need sheets, towels, etc. Excellent value. I prebooked for my next trip.

We loved our stay at La Mer. The room was newly remodeled and clean. Kitchenette provided everything we needed to cook a few meals. The place is very laid back and quiet. Great location. Easy walk to the “Square”, grocery store, beach, gift stores, dining, anything you need. The owner, Bill, was terrific. Can’t wait to go back!!

Such an amazing spot in Lauderdale by the Sea! Bill's place had everything we needed and was in the most perfect location, very quick to walk anywhere (shops, beach, grocery stores, restaurants etc) Bill was also such a great host, always checking in to make sure we were ok or if we needed anything. 10/10 recommend and we will be back. Thanks again!

We arrived on March 1 2025 and stayed for five weeks. Our suite was #2. Bill, our host was very pleasant and welcoming. Our suite was perfect. Well equipped kitchen and shower/bathroom.Clean ceramic floors.Comfortable bed. We had access to the office/storage/ washer and dryer(no charge) 24 hours a day for any extra amenities/supplies.The Publix supermarket, beach , restaurants,parks were nearby. We have been travelling to LBTS and Florida off and on since 1987 and must say this was one of the best condo/suites we experienced overall quality/price.
