The Elmar Boutique Hotel

This place is very nice. The rooms are beautiful, clean and updated. No musty smell like other properties. The kitchen in the "king" rooms is so convenient. The bed isn't really a king though, it's two smaller beds pushed together. The pool area is clean and comfortable. I wish the furniture around the pool was arranged in a way to optimize sun exposure. I had to rearrange chairs to sit out there. The fire it area is nice, but the fire pit doesn't work. When we stayed the pool wasn't warm enough to go in, that was disappointing. We did not have good communication about the cleaning schedule and check-in. That lead to us only being able to get our room cleaned once in 10 days. I'm on the fence about staying again. I feel like there are more consistent properties for that price point.

Spent a quick 3 day get away at this lovely, spotlessly clean, updated boutique hotel. Comfy beds with the softest sheets.... Across the street from the beach, a short block away from 4 great restaurant/bars with excellent food (Harat's was amazing) plus 2 more on the beach, all with great happy hours and live music ....no car needed with the local Circuit shuttle to farther points in Ft Lauderdale for $2 a ride... huge, comfortable room with large sitting area and kitchenette was perfect. The only minor hiccup was a non working ice maker, but the concierge provided a bag of ice to get us thru. Also use of free beach chairs, towels and umbrellas!! First trip there, but certainly won't be the last!

I agree with other reviewers who have called this place a hidden gem. I stayed here with my teenage daughter recently while we were in town for a baby shower. The overall aesthetic is culturally ambiguous minimalism, but our room was so spacious, thoughtfully appointed, and spotlessly clean that it felt like a quiet oasis of luxury just steps from the beach and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea nightlife. In spite of its proximity to the waterfront as well as several bars and restaurants, the property is on a quiet street, and our room was virtually soundproof. There is a door to close off the bedroom from the living area, so it was essentially a suite with a king bed, and a couch that folded out into a full-size bed. The on-site hospitality staff were wonderful and responsive. The pool was heated and

10/10!! Adriana and her staff maintain a perfect vacation get away. The rooms are the perfect size, upgraded appliances, with a wonderful pool. However, the amazing customer service I received throughout my stay is why I will be coming back!

I really don't share reviews, but this brought me out of my comfort zone to write a review. I had a high-school reunion and we all came from different states for this, the hotel blew our minds, the staff especially Adriana Gomez. Adriana is one of the best hosts you can ever encounter, she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great weekend, and an unforgettable FLL experience. The rooms are perfect to say the list. The hotel is just a 5 mins wal to the beach with lots of bars and restaurants within 2 mins walking distance from the hotel. I can go on and on about this place. At the end of our stay, we all had one thing in common, we were all going to visit again with our individual families.
